From Florence take the highway: AUTOSTRADA DEL SOLE A1 Exit at FI - CERTOSA At the exit turn right and get onto highway FIRENZE-SIENA until the exit SIENA NORD. At the exit follow to indications for SIENA and at the 2nd traffic lights turn left and follow the indications for train station. Then follow the indications for AREZZO and then GAIOLE IN CHIANTI / MONTEVARCHI which will bring you onto a road called STRADA CHIANTIGIANA. On this road follow the indications for PIANELLA/GAIOLE up until the village of PIANELLA. Before the bridge in PIANELLA turn left direction CERRETO/VAGLIAGLI and continue on this dirt road up until the sign RUDERI CASTELLO DI CERRETO Here turn right and after approx. 800 meters you will find on your left the gates of the villa.
